Dr. Huff has been studying and working in the fields of child and family development for more than ten years. Dr. Huff’s areas of expertise include communication (e.g., parent-child, interpersonal, and social media) and the biopsychosocial aspects of human development. As a North Carolina native, Dr. Huff earned a B.A. in Psychology and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; a M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from East Carolina University; and a Ph.D. in Family Sciences from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Huff promotes human development and family life education across the State, with special Extension foci in child/youth development, communication, and biopsychosocial health. – See more at:
