Free CYFERnet webinar: “Together We Thrive: Intergenerational Programs and Possibilities”

Registration is now open for “Together We Thrive:  Intergenerational Programs and Possibilities” with Karen DeBord, Shannon Jarrott and Matt Kaplan, Tuesday, May 15, 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. EDT.

Together We Thrive:  Intergenerational Programs and Possibilities introduce participants to the interdisciplinary field of intergenerational programming.  Participants will learn about the latest initiatives aimed at increasing interaction, cooperation, and mutual support between the generations.

Featured intergenerational programs have been designed to meet eldercare and childcare needs, strengthen educational systems and families, and build more cohesive, caring communities.  A wide variety of intergenerational programs and resources with their genesis within Cooperative Extension will be shared.  Ample opportunities for interaction will be provided through this free webinar sponsored by the CYFERnet Parent/Family Editorial Board.
